Good stuff. I thought the interview was great. Couple of questions:

Was that purple rubber those two balls were sitting on? I don't know if that was included in the 891 rubbers you mentioned :-D 

Did Mary Carillo say "piposity" referring to long and short pips? ;-)

yes piposity which was the choice over piposterous during the discussion prior to the taping.  When she said it I wasn't sure what to say in return! ;-)

Mary Carillo has been exposed to table tennis before. If I remember correctly, she may have announced Sean O'neill's match vs Chen Zhibin in Miami, 1988 on espn. It was part of a team match vs China at the US Open

Sean looks rather like Lou Ferrigno below the neck in the first pic. Rather amusing is the Muzak version of "She Bangs" at the end of the interview during the action video montage.
